Based on the peak-valley time-of-use electricity price mechanism, photovoltaic power generation technology is integrated with cool storage technology for the refrigeration system of the refrigerated warehouse to reduce the energy consumption of the refrigerated warehouse and realize peak shaving and valley filling of the power load to reduce operating costs. A system simulation model is established using TRNSYS software to explore the energy-saving potential of the refrigeration system with photovoltaic power generation integrated cool storage for refrigerated warehouses. For a 230 t apple refrigerated warehouse, the refrigeration system with photovoltaic power generation integrated cool storage can reduce monthly power consumption by 21.86% to 30.65% and monthly operation costs by 46.13% to 68.31%.
